A Builder’s Story

It was 35 years ago when Timber Ridge Homes sold its first home on Long Island.  Since then there have been many changes in both the company and the market place.  However, through it all, the core values and philosophy of Timber Ridge Homes have remained consistent.

"We strive to build a relationship with our customers borne out of integrity and value.  This philosophy is evident in every home we sell", says Don Eversoll who started Timber Ridge Homes in 1976 under the management company Klein & Eversoll.  The company sold 2,200 homes; 2,000 of which were built on Long Island.

It is Timber Ridge’s commitment to Long Island that has contributed to the beautification and preservation and of its landscape, attributes that make Long Island such a unique and desirable place to call home.  For many years, the Principals of Timber Ridge Homes have led organizations dedicated to bettering Long Island for its residents.   They have held leadership positions in The Nature Conservancy, Long Island Chapter, the Suffolk County Planning Commission, the Family Service League, the Institute for Student Achievement, and the Long Island Real Estate Group, among others.  Having raised their own families on Long Island, the Principals of Timber Ridge Homes understand the importance of family to the local home buyer.  As Timber Ridge looks to the future, it remains focused on the needs of local families and committed to providing great places to live on Long Island. Timber Ridge is further committed to extending theses principals to new divisions as it continues to grow and expand.

Timber Ridge Homes’ commitment to building high quality homes of great value can be found in each of its existing and future neighborhoods.  Explore our communities and become part of the Timber Ridge tradition.
